Kit comes with everything you need to
set up propane injection on your diesel engine except the tank and the
high pressure hose that comes from the tank to the solenoid
Can be installed in 4 to 6 hours, comes
with easy to follow instructions and a technical support email and
phone number
How it works:
Liquid or vapor propane enters the
regulator and is vaporized. The tank pressure is reduced to approx 1.5
psi. as negative pressure is transmitted from the engine's vacuum that
is created in the intake tube as the air flows by the sparge tube.
The regulator than releases propane vapor to the engine's intake, this
is called a negative pressure regulator. This system is regulated
by airflow. The more air flowing through the intake, the more
propane is released, it's the perfect mixture of air and propane at all
rpm's.
You can adjust this system so the pressure
switch is set at a lower psi for fuel mileage or set it higher when you
are under a load or climbing hills. Or you can turn it off all
together with the toggle switch that gets wired to your ignition switch.
Safety:
Propane can not be released unless the
engine is running, other systems out there use a positive pressure
regulator (which if it fails could release propane into the engine, even
when the engine isn't running.)
