Empire FurnaceEmpire Comfort Systems

Here, you'll find the Empire answers to your heating problems. You'll learn how to conserve precious energy and save significantly on your heating bills. By using Empire gas zone heaters to heat only the portions of your home you use the most, you can dial back your central heating system.

And for peace of mind, every Empire gas zone heating appliance is design certified by the American Gas Association.

For complete convienence, a "matchless" iezo igniter is installed on most Empire heating units. Known to be one the most reliable and advanced forms of gas ignition, these piezo igniters assure you of easy and safe starting.

  1. Vent-Free  Vent-Free gas heaters are 99.9% fuel efficient, because no outside venting is required. This type of heater is perfect where there is no access to flues or chimneys. Radiant models produce clean, sun-like, Radiant heat throughout the room. Blue-Flame models work by heating the air which then warms the people and objects with an atmospheric blue flame. Automatic shut-off devices make vent-free heaters safe.
  2. Direct Vent  With a direct-vent heater, there is a difference in fuel economy because outside air is used to support combustion. Inside air is warmed as it re-circulates around a sealed combustion chamber, and this warm air heats the room.

Empire's Direct Vent units are ideal where existing flues or chimneys cannot be used. If you must vent, you will receive maximum fuel economy from a Direct Vent heater.
  3. Conventional Vent  For years, people have relied on heaters using conventional flue arrangements. The vent pipes are connected between the heater and an existing chimney or flue to carry the products of combustion outside.

One characteristic of Conventional Vent heating is that the heater uses inside air to support combustion. Because conventional venting is right for many situations, such as inside wall configurations, Empire has a complete line of these products.
