JOB DESCRIPTION
Bulk Delivery Driver

Summary:

Non-Smoker
Operate bulk delivery truck safely and in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
Navigate with control and professionalism rural and city traffic on a daily basis.
Lift carry, and bend in regard to loading and unloading propane gas from truck to customer and or company location.
Comply with all HazMat and company regulations regarding handling of propane gas.
Complete daily and monthly paperwork neatly and on a timely basis.
Communicate with customers, staff, and management in an open, honest, and polite manner.
CDL w/hazmat and tank endorsements (3 years driving experience, clean MVR required, must be over 21 years old).

Details:

Home daily
Expect to work in excess of 32 hours a week.
Normally Monday thru Friday with occasional weekend(s) during peak season.
Assignments are given on a daily basis: where to load, where to deliver, and when run is expected to be done.
Drivers are expected to complete all necessary paperwork in a timely and neat manner and in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
Drivers are expected to perform pre and post trip inspections of bulk truck, must be documented on forms provided.
Drivers are expected to handle routine maintenance of their vehicle: oil, headlights. The driver is responsible to assure that all repairs have been made before operating the vehicle.
Drivers must return truck back to "ready" condition at the end of the day.
Drivers are required to complete an in-house hazmat and any safety training the company defines as necessary.
Driver must be will and able to perform miscellaneous duties needed by the company including: painting, maintenance, and repairs.

Compensation:

Paid by hour
Full-time drivers will accrue 1 week of vacation after 1 full year of service, to be taken when company demands allow.
Full-time employees will be eligible for six paid holidays after 90 days.
Full-time drivers will be eligible for medical insurance and dental reimbursement after 90 days.
Full-time drivers will be eligible to participate in the 401k after 1 year of employment.
